Patent of Nobility Card (where are you?)

I am curious. What are the various orders of knighthood that various people have received on their T5 Noble Cards?

I've got the Order of the White Star (actually says Knight of the White Star). If you know your canon then you'll know this is not widely advertised. ;)

So we have so far:

Orders of Knighthood:

Order (Knight) of the Third Imperium
Order (Knight) of the Iridium Throne

Order (Knight) of Deneb
Order (Knight) of the Solomani Rim
Order (Knight) of the White Star
Peer Titles:

<Peer Title> of the Imperial Core
<Peer Title> of the Third Imperium

Orders of Knighthood

The most common orders of knighthood in the Imperium are the Order of the Emperor's Guard, established in 52 and originally limited to the Emperor's personal retainers but now of wide and diverse membership, and the Order of Starship and Crown, established in 17. More exclusive orders have also been established: the Order of Hlyuea (established to honor loyal Aslan citizens), the Order of Gvadakoung (established to honor loyal Vargr citizens), and the Order of the Arrow, (established to recognize interstellar explorers). The domains each have orders named for them: The Order of Antares, the Order of Vland, the Order of Sylea, the Order of Sol, the Order of the Gateway, and the Order of Deneb. Of these, the Order of Sylea is administered by the Emperor himself (as de facto Archduke of Sylea); the Order of Deneb has never been used, as no Archduke of Deneb has ever been named.

I have assumed that if the order was not named it defaults to Order of the Emperor's Guard

Scouts.

So we have so far:

I am curious. What are the various orders of knighthood that various people have received on their T5 Noble Cards? (And I mean actually printed on the cards, not orders known from prior canon or "IMTU").

I have seen so far:

I have also seen for Noble Peers:

Are there others that I have missed?
I am pretty sure there was an Order of the Arrow floating about.

I went with Knight Retainer for my Knighthoods that listed no Order based on some Behind the Screen discussions for Greg P. Lee's now printed and shipping T5 Cirque Campaign Setting Book. If there was a Noble senior to a Knight I went with being appointed that Noble's Knight Retainer and where there was no other Noblity I went with Knight Retainer of the Emperor because He gave me the Land Grant and Title.

Possibly. But the quote you listed could potentially make the order either KEG or KSC. It will be interesting to see if anyone has been given a card that explicitly mentions either of those two orders.

(Plus, T5 Nobles work somewhat differently than in previous editions of Traveller, so maybe those orders have a different frequency or membership than before. GT made the Order of Starship & Crown more exclusive than previous editions as well).

Knight Commander.

Speaking of the Order of the Emperor's Guard, I am also pretty sure I saw not just a Knight of the Order, but a Knight Commander of the Emperor's Guard. I would check, but this thread got real long and I am short on time. Still a complete list would be cool to see and have.

Oh and for fun consider this :CoW:, there may be folks with those spiffy new T5 Patents who are not on CotI that we will be missing from the Census of Nobles.

Some ideas.

Is there a link for the T5 Cirque Campaign Setting Book, or is it just for Kickstarter supporters at the moment?
I would try to email him and snag one of those spares he might still have. The address is on the Kickstarter page or you can try him on his personal page or the Traveller RPG group on facebook. And I think he might even have an account here, but I have no idea how active he is.

Yeah, I missed the negative sign when I was reading. That RU -490, yeah that is a major drain.

I'm still completely befuddled by the notion of an independent world with 200 million inhabitants that has a negative production. I don't understand how that can come about. The explanation that they consume more than they produce requires an explanation of who is subsidizing them to such an extent and why.

And if they're that generous, couldn't they give the high noble a decent appanage? ;)

Just as there was a difference between the Gods IN Lankhmar and the Gods OF Lankhmar, there is also a difference between a Baron FROM Tureded and the Baron OF Tureded.

The first was on the Birthday List and has a nice office and a small pension On Tureded. The second has those things AND a seat with his name on it in the Moot Spire.

I assume "KB" is Knight of Vland (Kiduunuuzii Bilanidin)?

Correct
Knight of the Order of Deneb (KD)
Knight of the Starship and Crown (KSC) and Knights of the Ancient Order of Vland (KB) "Kiduunuuzii Bilanidin"
A member of the "The Fifty" Sarriiu and Knights of the Ancient Order of Vland (50 KB)
