Patent of Nobility Card (where are you?)

How can anything go off world with less than a ship a month?

Alternatively, how do the altruists who are subsidizing Asii move the supplies for 200 million people with less than a ship per month?

Asii has an UWP of C435894-7 and a trade code 'Ph' that I don't recognize, so I'll ignore it for now.

A world with a population of 200 million and a TL of 7 has a GWP of 1.2 trillion.

The only way a world can have a negative production is if the population imports stuff with borrowed money. That's possible, of course, as long as its credit remains good,

BUT! A ruler or a landlord (whichever you think fits the high noble of Asii best) gets to tax/collect rent from his subjects/tenants BEFORE they get to spend any money. That's how taxes and rents work.

So the high noble would (or rather, ought to) get taxes and rents from everyone on his personal estate and taxes from everyone on the rest of his fief.

Some answers.

To the first question, perhaps it is a very large ship. :) Or maybe they have a ship every quarter.

Now, here I get to catch the Master slipping, watch closely it doesn't happen often. :D Hans, Hans, Hans, my man, seriously you missed an obvious Pre-code. I mean those go back to CT for crying out loud. Come on, say it with me, Ag and Pre-Ag, Rich and Pre-Rich, and of course in this case High Population and...Pre-High Pop. Funny thing though, I don't recall there being a Pre-Industrial, just Industrial and Non-Industrial. I may have missed it, in which case Hans is gonna make me eat some of that tasty crow. Which I would.

As to their spending, it might be credit and imports, they have an Impersonal Bureacracy so as long as the paperwork is good, they probably don't much care if the population spends a lot of credit. Okay, even I have to admit that is pretty weak, but I claim long work and very tired. Maybe they charge sick rates and hire as mercs, or they have super-good tech for primitives, or that old fall back natural resources.

Yep, too tired to think, time to close and sleep.

Which still means I either have a world of people starving to death, or a world of yuppies living on credit. Neither of which I can change.

I'm a reasonably high rank noble of a already squeezed lemon of a planet. And the world I'm a knight of has to import all the basic requirements for life.

What are the rules that give Asii this strange economy?

T.A.S. (Gush 2339)

Dagu is more than capable of it's own food growth and air generation; TL15 is capable of quite a bit.

A lot depends on what else is present in system - if there's a GG or a kuyper belt, it can be entirely self-sufficient.

Dagu (Dagudashaag) is the sector. Dauni is the world and there are 3 gas giants, 2 planetoid belts, and 10 other planets.

It is Non-industrial, only has a trace of atmosphere and no water. C level resources, level 4 labor, level 5 infrastructure, and efficiency of +1.

And that's the world I only have a knighthood on.

Asii.

While Asii has a negative Efficeincy RU isn't a Welfare State or if it is, it is a successful one. When I did up the Far Stars sector I found that RU 490 is pretty good.

Egad! I thought Asii was bad, but I just looked up the world where my TAS membership is from.
4 Gas Giants, 0 Planetoids, 2 other worlds

D class starport
9,600 km Diameter
Thin Atmosphere
60% water
7,000 population
a Representative Democracy Government
Tech Level 7
An importance of -3.
In economics: Resources 5, Labor 2, Infrastructure 0, Efficiency -3
In Culture: Homogenety 3, Acceptance 1, Strangeness 5, Symbols 7
Trade Classification: Lo (low population), Ga (garden world)
Ru -30

And this is a world on an X-boat route.

Asii is:

5 Gas Giants, 0 Planetoids, 4 other worlds

C class starport
6,400 km Diameter
Very Thin Atmosphere
50% water
2,000,000,000 population
a Impersonal Bureaucracy Government
Tech Level 7
An importance of -1.
In economics: Resources A, Labor 7, Infrastructure 7, Efficiency -1
In Culture: Homogenety 6, Acceptance 7, Strangeness 3, Symbols 5
Trade Classification: Ph (pre-high population)
Ru -490

Dauni is :
3 Gas Giants, 2 Planetoid Belts, 10 other worlds

A class starport
4,800 km Diameter
Trace Atmosphere
0% water
7,000 population
a Feudal Technocracy Government
Tech Level F
An importance of 1.
In economics: Resources C, Labor 4, Infrastructure 5, Efficiency +1
In Culture: Homogenety 3, Acceptance 6, Strangeness 3, Symbols D
Trade Classification: Ni (Non-Industrial)
Ru 240

And on an X-Boat Route.

T5 - Orders of Knighthood

I am curious. What are the various orders of knighthood that various people have received on their T5 Noble Cards? (And I mean actually printed on the cards, not orders known from prior canon or "IMTU").

I have seen so far:

Order (Knight) of the Third Imperium
Order (Knight) of the Iridium Throne

Order (Knight) of Deneb
Order (Knight) of the Solomani Rim
I have also seen for Noble Peers:

<Peer Title> of the Imperial Core
<Peer Title> of the Third Imperium
Are there others that I have missed?

My Peerage card just says Viscount then the world data. My knighthood card just says Sir Paladin Warlock then has the world data. No knighthood orders or anything. All I got was generic.

Some of them are that way (some of mine are that way).

Such a knight I am guessing would be a "Bachelor Knight" (no order), employing the modern usage of that term.

(e.g. Sir Paladin Warlock, Kt.) - where "Kt" is the abbreviation for Knight, never "KT", which would be the initials of an order. Such knights would be at the bottom of the order of precedence, below all of the orders.

But that is only my guess of course.

That's in keeping with how much the worlds my fiefs are on are dumping grounds for the Imperium.
