Pai Lung travels in a squadron of five ships of this kind; otherwise (and more
commonly) it operates independantly. A Ship's Boat is carried, and onboard it is a G-Carrier. [The Pai Lung is a High Guard conversion of the LBB2 Type-T Patrol Cruiser].

Overall I've used a "Flying Wing" design for the Pai Lung-class.

Aside from the name ("Dragon" also being one of the TL-specific class names for the standard SDB), it looks good. Given that the languages we use only have so many neat sounding words to make good names out of, even the name is a very minor point...

I'm not sure, but neither would I let it worry me
I'm pretty sure there are instances in canon of different ships with the same (or very similar) class names.

Looks pretty good btw, a nice addition to the fleet.

Or Draak, Drache, Drakos, Drago, Dracul... but those are all just other languages for Dragon not really a different name at all

Don't be afraid to make something up, but don't be surprised if you find the word later already used, there's only so many ways to form pronounceable words ;)

As to the choice of Dragon, a negative in Western Old World mythology (though not so in Eastern mythology) tied to a protective services ship has me wondering. Perhaps it is (or should have) a more Eastern influence and so you might take a cue in the actual names from that. Such as using Kinabalu, Lei Jen Zu, Pai Lung, and Yu to name but four major Eastern (Chinese) Dragons.

Pai Lung it is then

Posts and deckplans edited accordingly. If you still see the old deckplans, please click on your browser's "reload"/"refresh" button. A small error in the Ship's Boat bay's size was also corrected.

Individual ships would be called after various Chinese dragons.

EDIT: Ship's Boat deckplans added.
