New Post-Apocalyptic Forum

I'm not sure what their thing is yet, they are just starting. I plan to make Car Wars one of my things. (P.S. Jeff, love your Car Wars site by the way.)

Twilight 2000 would fit right in I think. I'm told by the creator of the board that all post-apocalytic RPGs are welcome and encouraged. Not surprising, most folks seem to know only Gamma World and d20. This seems to be the default state of the internet RPG community.

So far, they seem to not suffer from "system prejudice/rapid fanboy syndrome" where the only good RPGs are from either TSR and/or d20.

Called "Aftermath RPG", but has nothing to do with the Aftermath RPG...
Your right it's not dedicated to Aftermath, but I and a few other posters are fans of Aftermath by FGU and I'm sure there will be some discussions of it. I'd love to find an Aftermath board that is actually active, but I've been unable to find anything. If you know of one I'd love to have the link.

(Thanks, Ptah!
)

Man, I loved 3rd edition Gamma World with the colorful Action Table. I think it was ripped off from Marvel Superheroes... and GW Grognards despise it! But... there really was nothing quite like taking down a foe with an orange or red result!! Those were good times.

My pleasure. I'd actually like to ask you some Car Wars questions, but maybe that's best for PM.

GW grognards despise it? As I've recently seen it commented, GW was never short of the wahoo/fantasy factor which is what people liked; so where's the problem. For me the GW 1st edition cover looked very gritty, and that's what I wanted. I was disappointed to find it was not.

Hey Ptah, I tried to list you as "Referrer" when I registered, but I guess you have a different screen name on that board.

Sorry! :(

No problem, and thanks. I selected a more genre appropriate screen name over there.
