Need help replicating CT starship combat

I’m not aware of any means to print the Mayday pieces in a fashion that will satisfy my table…

I made decent counters using a color laser printer, 110# cardstock, spray glue, and 1.5mm plastic sheet. If I were to do it again, I'd use 0.5mm instead... or 1 to 1.5mm balsa.

Next time, I'm probably going to get foam sheet, and glue the counters to that, instead.

Triplanetary is a very nice game, but it's quite different than CT LBB2 system...

Most things from LBB2 combat system are not there (computers, players' skills, etc)
I don’t plan on using the rules for Triplanetary, just the hexboard and tokens. I plan on using the CT rules for all combats – again, I just want the physical pieces to augment play-at-the-table using CT starship combat rules…perhaps bringing in some of the supps specified above.

That sounds good, but I’m not a “crafting” kind of guy. I think I’ll stick to purchasing a copy of Triplanetary from SJ Games…but thanks for your suggestion, aramis.

Printing on to heavier paper (my local Office Depot sells it by the sheet, so you don't need to by a big pack of it) and cutting counters out, isn't really that crafty.

Upgrading to a bit of spray glue and poster board or foam core board, not so much either. Pony up for a sharp knife and a metal straightedge.

Local quick print shops have color laser printers if you like, and some have those nice cutters that make things easy. Knock it all out in 1/2 hour.
