Mustering out with a vehicle

Just a little oddity... If you muster out with a vehicle, you have a max of a 5000cr limit. Unfortunately, none of the stock vehicles fall lower than that. how have others dealt with this? Create a vehicle for them? Or something else?

My solution is to ignore the limit and give the character something that suits their background. Just don't let them cash it in.

You can get a Jeep, that's somewhere around 2500cr. I think if you can get a multi-million credit stake in a starship for a mustering out roll, allowing the players to get an ATV or even an air/raft ain't unreasonable.

I would allow a vehicle appropriate to there back ground. Even if it is designed. Probably wouldn't allow any weapons.
