Meson Screen and CommPlus

Would it be possible to have a meson screen follow the hull like a jump grid and have CommPlus on an antenna sticking out of the screen, allowing CommPlus to work with the screen up? What other sensors might be affected by a meson screen?

Possibly, having read the How Screens Work if the ship has a jump grid then it seems like that might work.
