MegaTraveller computer game

Does anyone remember the MegaTraveller computer game? Was an old DOS game, from years and years ago.

If so, have you managed to get it to run in WinXP? Against all odds I've got the game still but cannot get it to run on my WinXP box. :D

Was an interesting game in some ways. It had a meta plot, but I remember playing it and losing track of the main plot, we got lost and ended up at a point where we were going to have to go back and revisit a hundred planets and go to every city and every building and talk to every PC to find the clue we must have missed so we quit playing it. A shame really but our tolerance for tedium had worn down by that point.

Both MEgaTraveller computer games are available for download on the net. Just google for them. Many traveller sites host their files. And yes they do run under XP. At least I manage to run them.

If anyone would want a copy of Megatraveller2 (in its original box & documentation), I will sell you a copy for $2.00 plus S&H.

Oh, the nostalgia...

The Megatraveller computer game was what got me hooked on Traveller, back in the 90´s. I got that game as part of a compilation (together with Wing Commander and Elite, two other classics), when it was already old and its graphics looked horrible. But I still played it a lot, although I never got further into the metaplot than that ambush on Boughene.
