Maps of 1248

Cymew

SOC-12
I just managed to find used copies of the two first 1248 books. In them it says that the maps of the new setting can be downloaded from Comstar games, which of course can not be done now. So, have someone saved those maps from when they where online, and can be convinced to share them? The printing in the books is slightly blurred, so I'd love to be able to discern what is what on those maps!

I would email Mr Dougherty directly, but as far as I know, bk 1 does not have a map and book 2 it is only black and white in the book.

I believe those are supposed to be on TNE disk 2..

That would mean paying for something which used to be free...

The bigger problem, though, being that I have almost all of the TNE stuff I want and thus it would mean paying twice for all that.

It is a solution, though. Thanks for the hint. I didn't know there was such a thing.

Good idea. If you have his address or username here feel free to post here or PM me. I had not thought about trying to reach him directly. Makes a lot of sense, come to think of it.

There are maps in both books, and they are printed in multiple shades of gray. Some are very hard to make out. There's a note in both books about the maps being available, in colour, on the Comstar games website. Those are the ones I want.

I think his name here is MJD, but he doesn't post much, I will hunt other places, he might be working with avalon games?

The only map in the first book I have is of charted space (which is color), not a sector map, though there is a little piece of a subsector.

2nd book has 4 sector maps, but they are in B&W.

The archived copy of the setting map was great. Suddenly I can see what that state in light grey and the other state in light grey are.

I only wish the sector maps had been available as well, but you'll have to be thankful for what you can get.

Thanks for the help, guys!
