Low Berths

I've been looking through the material I have and came upon a delima. In CT (LBB2 & HG), the standard low berth is 1/2 dton. In T4 (QSDS, SSDS, & FFS2), it is a full 1 dton. What is the required space in the other versions (MT, TNE, T20[I don't have the latter handy at 4 err... 5 in the morning.])

In MT the cold berth is listed as 13.5 kl (or 1 dt in the MT scale of things), but there is a footnote that this volume includes access space and the accomodation itself is only half of this value.
T20 gives 0.5 dt as the volume of a cold berth.
FF&S(TNE) requires 14m3 (or 1dt in the TNE scale)

Presumably low berths could be installed in tiers or pull-out sections like a giant file cabinet to minimize access space and get down to the ½ ton figure.
