X’kuur’qu’io N is an environmental disaster zone, having under gone a nuclear strike and global nuclear winter about forty (40) years ago. They joined the D. R. of Akeen about ten (10) years ago as a member planet.

Refueling at the gas giant is allowed, but landing on the main world is prohibited, and enforced by Akeen naval forces.

To whom it may concern:

During Rocko Cooper’s tenure with my crew, he served as Master Gunner and Chief Security Officer. He greatly exceeded expectation, was an integral part of my crew, and will be sorely missed. His enthusiasm for work is only surpassed by his dedication to duty.

His execution of gunnery and security duties was exemplary, and on more than one occasion his defense of the ship and crew would have earned a citation for heroism in military circles.

Mr. Cooper’s shipboard skills surpass many seasoned spacers, and he was always very willing to aid others in their duties, including standard maintenance and ship modification.

Please accept my recommendation of Rocko Cooper.

Sincerely,

Calam Flornoy, Captain
Late Federal Scout Ship 17363

25, September, 2081 – After polling the crew, began a review of vessels for sale. A few vessels with Jump 3, Maneuver 3 or 4 were available.

27, September, 2081 – Toured two 400- and one 500-ton vessel. Determined that the retired patrol craft and corvette were far too aggressive-looking for our current endeavors.
