LBB2 M-Drives in LBB5: When does it help?

LBB2 equates the volume in Dtons to the (I believe) mass in tonnes from LBB3, for historical reasons. That works out reasonably if you compare with vehicle garages, so no big problem.

That is kinda a recon if you start with the 77edition.

Yes, in LBB2'77 it's obvious, but in LBB1-3'81 it's not quite so obvious that "ton" sometimes means 14 m³ and sometimes a tonne.

One ton of cargo is 1000kg in LBB2 (both editions) trade rules, TTB trade rules, SE trade rules. Vehicle tonnage in LBB3 is "weight" rather than "displacement" and is used as such in the trade rules.
