Kickstarter Swag: KnightName?

I received the email now. And I noticed travellermap.com had access issues.

I suspect others received the email too.

Yup, I got mine and eventually got travellermap to work.

I could only come up with a single world I really liked, so I put that in for both the Knighthood and TAS. Interestingly, the survey seems to only ask for one.

And I was surprised that there wasn't a list of checkboxen for the extra stuff that can be purchased.

Wonder how long it will take to hear back on world selection for Nobility/TAS. Or do we have to wait till we open the box? :O

Sorry about that. Apparently the current architecture of the site was running close to the limits of the inexpensive service provider I use. The extra load from the survey pushed it over the edge. I spent a few hours last night trying to improve the situation but it's not clear if I did any good.

I just wonder how we will fill out for multiple knighthoods, i should have 2 knighthoods and a barony due to my kickstarter pledge and being a beta tester. As I want a knighthood for my son, and my wife, with me geting the barony. TAScard is in my real name though. The Titles will be our real names as well, don't wanna use them on a character name then watch them die lol.

I got my Kickstarter Survey, but not one for being a T5 Beta CD owner. I did however notice a question asking if I was in the Beta group, so perhaps it will come after Marc gets the Kickstarter surveys done.

I'm a Duke and I just don't understand the the difference between "KnightName" and "NobleName".

Or what TASCardWorld is, especially separate from KnightWorld and NobleWorld.

Or why these things can't have a space between the capitalized words.

Update: think I figured it out. Went with the first as birth planet, KnightWorld as system the character is a knight of, and put in the subsector capital for duke nobleworld.

I had the same problem, and the same solution, fwiw. (Minus the baronage, of course.)

I ended up picking Gampin/Atsah (Deneb 2820) as the home/TAS world:

Gampin's population lives in several deep rift valleys near the equator. Here thick forests and rugged mountains cut off population centers from each other, and overland travel is difficult to accomplish.

Sounds like my kind of place, plus the fact that overland travel is *difficult* but no impossible made it seem like a good place for a Scout character to grow up. The history discussed on the Gampin page seems to be from a version of Traveller I'm not familiar with, but it's only the planet itself I'm interested in.

It may less obscure or exciting, but I picked Inthe/Regina for the knighthood world, figuring that a Scout later in life would like a place with a Scout base, a University campus, and an Ancients site.

If you're part of the Kickstarter you should have gotten the form by email some time ago.

If you're part of the beta CD group but not the Kickstarter then you should have been getting updates by email from Marc, including today's that is specific to that group and Knight names (if I understand correctly) copied here:

If you are NOT participating in the Traveller5 Kickstarter Project, you will receive the CDROM by mail, as well what we call Swag Gold (which is a set of four Traveller Dice). You will also receive a Knighthood from the Court of the Iridium Throne. We will send out an inquiry letter in November confirming everything, including your mailing address. There is a time element involved (we’ll allow you plenty of time) but if for some reason we don’t hear from you until after we have produced the Knighthoods and sent things out, you will receive a generic, non-personalized card.

If you aren't getting emails from Marc check you spam filter, or maybe contact Marc to provide a new email address.
