Is there anything in a book on how to put together a space colony?

I mean, life support, reactors, habitats, etc...

I'd like to figure out how to use Traveller to colonize the solar system.

What would it take?

What Planets, Moons, Asteroids, etc... could we set up Colonies, Mining Facilities, and other Habitats on in the solar system?

TNE World Tamers Handbook is a book focused on colonization.

But it's more about starting with a T-Shirt world than building a moonbase.

This made me realize the vast gulf between what is and what might be. I think the closest I'll get to a Lunar or Mars base or any other type of non Terran base in my life time is through Sci-Fi. But very thought provoking.

Have you had a look at the Colony Builder by Zozer? It's set up for their Hostile setting, but still obviously compatible with CT and other versions. You can play out colonisation as a solo campaign, and it has a chapter on roles for PCs so it's a group rather than solo activity. Building it feels very familiar - similar to a ship but a little less mobile. Below is the planning sheet to build your colony, assuming you've sufficient budget...
