The 2 handed is the proper claymore. I am not sure if "Mad Jack" Churchill ever referred to his Scottish Broad sword as a Claymore. I certainly will not disagree with the man who stormed the beach in Norway in WWII playing the bagpipes while carrying a sword and a log bow.

The thing with the longbow is a myth; he did have one with him in 1940, but said he never shot it and it got crushed by a lorry, he certainly wasn't carrying one in Normandy (but was carrying a broadsword and playing the pipes when he landed).
