Ilelish Sector is now complete.
* All 451 out of 451 T5SS entries have been made.
* 16 out of 16 subsectors.
* There are no non-canon worlds.
* All entries now have binary and trinary solar system data noted.
* All entries now have updated and expanded trade codes with color text.

Please check it out here: http://wiki.travellerrpg.com/Ilelish_Sector

Here's how you can help:
* Take a look through Ilelish Sector and look for errors, typos, omissions, etc. Please feel free to comment at the Wiki or here on this thread.

* Very few of the worlds have reference sources yet. If you know which canon or non-canon sources are behind any T5SS world, please share at the Wiki or here on this thread.

* If you have any ideas to make the entries better, please share. The goal of the Wiki is to provide the Traveller community with a top notch resource.

* Please also be aware that Traveller Wiki is not considered a canon source and that the Traveller Wiki is in accordance with FFE usage guidelines. If anyone finds any material out of accordance with FFE usage guidelines, please let one of the users know so that it can be immediately corrected.

* Any encouragement is welcome. It always nice to hear that this kind of resource will be useful to you as a player, referee, or otherwise. Please feel free to make positive comments on this thread.

* I'd like to publicly thank Thomas Jones-Low (Tjoneslo) and all of the other Wiki contributors, past and present. I really appreciate his hard work and guidance. And, of course, the Traveller Wiki is built upon the contributions of the community. Nearly every entry is built upon the hard work of people who came before...

Thank you!

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

There was a "CONTACT" article on the Suerrat (native to Ilelish) that has some world detials in T4:JTAS #26 by Imperium Games (note: that was the short-lived 2 volume magazine published by Imperium Games for T4, not the Challenge/JTAS #26 magazine).

I didn't notice it listed on the wiki in the reference source material.

The Suerrat are discussed in GT: Interstellar Wars as well, though that rendition is rather GURPSy and 3000 years ago.

The IG JTAS article mentions that as much as 60% of the sector's population is Suerrat. Add up the high pops. That's a LOT of Suerrat.

Scattered Ilelish worlds have TAS News references in the Rebellion era (and in the SJG alt-timeline TAS News, IIRC).

It also notes the following about Ilelish itself in the Milieu:0 Era:

IG JTAS #26, p.4:

lIelish circles an M0 star. To human eyes even a bright day on the planet is rarely brighter than early evening on Terra.
...

lIelish is also a relatively cool world, and in many regions the fur [the Suerrat] developed was necessary for insulation.
...

Ilelish is a world dominated by the great Rhala forests. Except for small oceans, three deserts and the polar icecaps, these forests cover roughly 80% of the surface of lIelish. Rhala trees average 60 to 100 meters tall, and grow up to 8 meters in diameter. These trees superficially resemble the giant sequoias of Terra. Rhala trees also form several large hollow spaces inside themselves.

These hollow spaces connect to the outside and are generally inhabited by dog-sized arboreal predators who live in a symbiotic relation to the trees. The trees provide the predators with a place to live, and the predators protect the trees from harm. Shortly after the Ancients departed Ilelish, the Suerrat aomesticated these predators and moved into the ready-made rooms provided by the Rhala trees.

Ever since, the Suerrat have been an arboreal race with deep ties to the forest.

Thank you, Whulorigan. I will have to update this information later. Much appreciated.

It also notes the following about Ilelish itself in the Milieu:0 Era:

The world of Ilelish has since changed within the timeline. The Ilelish Tax Revolt in the 400s ended with the world's equatorial zone being nuked flat by the Imperial Navy. The inhabitants were forcibly evacuated first.

Yes. But for a TravellerWiki article on the world, it should be noted in the history of the planet, since people play Traveller in many different OTU eras.

Absolutely. The wiki should be as complete as possible for all published eras.

I am not following 100%.

*** What do the two of you want the entry to read? ***

I would like the Traveller Wiki article to be as comprehensive as possible while following FFE usage guidelines.

Maksim-Smelchak.

For clarity, this is the world of Ilelish, not the sector entry.
http://wiki.travellerrpg.com/Ilelish_(world)

It makes reference to the persistent sterilization of the equatorial region, so it is probably fine for now. "Scars" may be understating it a bit, though.

Ok, Jim. If it is missing something, please let me know. I can look up your reference and correct it for omissions if necessary.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
