Flaming Eye is an excellent adventure save it was somewhat a hasty job as there is needless repetition of the same data (such as, in the form of world profiles) and the two adventures do connect but very loosely.
When I refereed it, I found the first adventure to be better than first. But, this was also a time when the players and I breathed MegaTraveller and would have bi-weekly sessions...
But, as it was designed as a supplement to Dogs & Cogs it is a great product. However, it really fails to give a strong feel of the Extents that say the Traveller adventure did.
I found it did flesh out some of the concepts that were present in the sourcebook but the sourcebook still did a better job. The players were being railroaded but not overly so (about the same level as the Traveller Adventure).
Artwork inside is the usual high Blair Reynolds standard with a smattering of DGP artists.
Is it worth it...don't go over 30 Pounds for it, for its value lies in the forbidden canon aspect and its value within history. However, as you know, the rewriting over DGP's work makes it ever more redundant.
