How compatible is it?

Just wondering if MGT is being made with the intention of being compatible with older products? I have many CT modules...

Will they make World generation with the same profiles?

I have been playing around with the Mongoose Traveller core rules and so far it seems like you could use CT or MT products with little to no conversion really.
To be honest, and I know this may get me kicked out of the CT fanboy club, I think the new core rules are better than any previous incarnation of traveller. sure there are a few inconsistencies but as far as the basics like character gen and game play I like the changes they made to the system.

It feels like CT but is much more streamlined and flexible.

I would say with minor adjustments you could port stuff back and forth quite easy.

I also agree with Jamus, they did a good job of keeping the overall feel of CT.
