No-one's done a CONTACT! post about out star-fishy friends the Hive Federation and their shockers the Ithklur, or any of the other species (why do we call them "races" anyway?) in the Federation. That's a shame, 'cause Hiver tech is better than Imperial tech. And remember, the Hivers are your friends...

(A little searching would probably reveal a Hiver translation, too, but I don't really know of one, yet.)

Actually, the group I play Heavy Gear with had a campaign with one of the players playing a Hiver. Just the right character type, too. The other players said he was forever trying to manipulate the player group, and that he got away with it several times.
