Hmm, are the backup systems rules from TCS really compatible with HG? I never owned TCS and only had a brief look at it years ago but aren't HG and TCS quite seperate games in a lot of ways? HG, at least my 7th printing of 2nd edition, seems to pretty much disallow any backup systems except for an auxiliary bridge. Of course that is so that the game can be played in a more streamlined fashion without worrying if the last hit to the maneuver drive was on the primary or backup, and which one are you using now, and what is its current factor...
