I brought this up a long time ago but I think that Walter Jon Williams High Culture concept should be a part of Traveller. Now obviously it can't be an official part of it but IYTU it could be.

It gives Nobles something to do. It follows on from our own culture where People, Dancing with Stars etc are very popular.

Plus it's funny :smirk:

And a new thing. Mongoose released some Centauri Royal Guard for B5. I'm not down with the Guard but I love love love the Centauri officers with the pack. I'm thinking that's EXACTLY what the Vilani look like! Plus I'm thinking that's what Vilani culture is like. Lando wuz Great!

Really? The vilani have a horny material wrapped around their heads and are completely hairless.

I'm confused. I thought vilani and solomani were capable of interbreeding and that horn like stuff on the minbari would seem to point to a major genetic difference.

The centauri have, visibly, only the hairstyle difference and an old fashioned formal clothing style.

But YTU is yours.

Mine will have much more colourful vilani from now on. And interesting Nobles and other sportsmen type plus something for the players to follow.

Yes yes, of course, that's why I said "visibly". Since I'm talking only about the visible differences here the Centauri can easily be human while the Mimbari can't be.

I'm not, after all, going to have Mimbari or Centauri in my game. I'm going to have Vilani and Solomani.

To reference this Mongoose now makes some Centauri figures. I doubt if they are anatomically correct... and if they are ewwww! :nonono:

I, um, I guess I missed that episode. Seen? His five foot member? Geeze in my town they won't even show Long Dong Silver on TV and that's like, what, eighteen inches.
