Heaven and Earth

I don't really know him. I submitted bug and usability reports, participated in the Yahoo group, and e-mailed a couple of times.

Stuart Ferris is a user on CotI, you can always leave him a PM. He does not post actively, but that does not necessarily mean he doesn't stop by and look. He may see a PM.

I located his old e-mail address. I you want it, PM me. I do not know if it still works.

The old H&E2 website is no longer in service, as well.

Unless I am in error, Jim V's Galactic page host's domain has expired.

I've interacted with him off and on over the years, writing my own Galactic plugins. Until I get official word from him to stop, I'll take the liberty of hosting his Gal 2.4 on my own corner of the internet, after the 1st of June, just to keep it alive.

(I have it as a .zip butr my current site cannot accept files larger than 5mb.)

Has anyone succeeded in running H&E on WinXP? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but I always get messages about the wrong version of the VB dlls. H&E was great on Win98, and hasn't worked on my current machine.

By conicidence I did an installation of Heaven and Earth onto a machine with Windows XP Pro (SP 1) last night, worked first time with no issues at all.

There's still "buggy" issues with the systems that it creates. "Malefant" said that its unreliable for realistic habital systems.
