I have some suplements with strange art I started to reread. Who or what were Group One Publications about, and where in space (X,Y, sector) did their stuff take place? They have the "approved for use with Traveller" license and very old copyright dates.

I have 'Encounters in the Correlian subsector' by Group One - it is just some deckplans with AD&D style encounters in it and very bad production. I understand Group One did a range of similar products

I have no idea if these subsectors ever formed part of the OTU.

Group One did a dozen or so products in the very early days of Traveller (c. 1979-81), and the consensus opinion is that there's pretty much nothing of interest or value in any of them. Their patch of the OTU was Theta Borealis sector, WAY out to spinward, at the very edge of the original Charted Space map. They produced a sector guidebook with map and UWPs, but AFAIK it was decanonized along with the Judges Guild and Paranoia Press sectors.
