General Grav Tubes

In my mind, a "Grav-tube" whould a zero-G space that people can move through. By just hand over hand pulling your self through, jumping into it and letting inertia move you through, or any meathod of adding a vector and energy. Wings could be fun.

My take is a bit silly, something like Dragonlance Gnomic Technology. Zero G at one end, a certain set G part way through, and zero G from there. You get a calculated acceleration from the start to the Zero Point, and a constant velocity from there. At the receiving end would be a huge trampoline...
