I don't really want Roger dead. He's not all bad. He really is a schmuck (with all the yiddish denotations and connotations), but not a bad guy aside from his terminal greed WRT DGP.

Now, if we found out he was no longer alive from a credible source, Piracy would ensue.

I can't understand why (AIUI) he's just sitting on the rights and doing nothing with them. He could sell the rights, or reprint the books, and make some money, but the longer he waits the less they'll be worth.

Do not underestimate pettiness. I'm a big fan of it myself, though it gets more difficult when it works against me. However, maintaining a healthily petty reputation allows me to engage in some truly shallow, selfish, and pig-headed behavior and have it written off. "Oh, that. he's just petty. Ignore it."

Someone should get in touch with the guy in charge of the 2300AD site "Pentapod's World". He was allowed by Roger to put the DGP 2300AD articles from the Traveller's Journal on his site.

Maybe we just have to be polite...or maybe there's too much bad blood between Roger and the rest of the Traveller community.
