FFS Design Contest!

LeperColony

Traveller Card Game Dev Team
Okay, not really a contest so much as a request thread for FFS designs, because I'm not really into that sort of thing, but there are things I'd like to see/use. I also figured that there might be some people out there who liked to make FFS designs, but who wouldn't ordinarily do so without the motivation of a request.

So, below is a short list of items I'd like to see designed. In every example I've done my best to check BARD and the Missouri Archive.

The prize? Well, aside from helping your fellow Traveller and getting to design something in FFS, I'll use your forum handle as a name in my Traveller game. It might be an NPC, a ship, an establishment, a weapon, who knows, but it'll feature prominently in an adventure!

Roughneck class petrochemical harvester (Survival Margin, page 37) - TL-6/7 designed to "...provide prestellar technology worlds with a means of assuring a steady supply of petrochemicals, even if interstellar commerce and dirtside resources proved futile." It's a VTOL craft that harvests gas giants.

TL-10/11 Space fighter (50 tons or less) - A space superiority fighter for lower tech colonial navies.

TL-12 to 15 melee weapons - I know, there may not really be a point to them, but they can be cool. So like a powerfist (like warhammer 40k), a laser axe or something, or a similar weapon from the Mongoose Traveller Central Supply Catalogue.

Antony, a lot of helpful stuff there. Thanks!

Ewin, the stuff in English was cool, but I'm guessing maybe the German stuff details melee weapons?

I second E. D. Quibell's suggestion about checking out The Missouri Traveller Archives which in my opinion is a very good site for a lot of material. On the downside, being an archive, some of the neat stuff doesn't work with newer operating systems and applications.

Thank you for the suggestions, but as I've said (three times now...) I have specifically done my best to pre-screen BARD and the Missouri Archive. Of course it's entirely possible I could have missed something...

Sorry, I totally missed the first two times. I highly doubt that you missed anything. I'll blame the oversight by either A) Web Gremlins hiding them or B) I wasn't wearing my glasses.

Again my apologies and I'll read the threads more carefully in the future.
