Hee hee hee I find it so cool that because of the orientation of the camera, this unexpected perspective of the Earth is just... awe inspiring. My brain just saw the land mass and it was mildly Austrailia shaped and was where I was expecting Australia to be, if I were looking at the orientation of Earth like it's shown in textbooks and beauty shots for *decades*. But there it is, Africa from 180 ish degrees flipped from what I'm used to. Like the camera operator is standing on their head. But they're not. The Orbiter is moving in one direction, is oriented in another direction and the camera and operator are oriented independently of both vector and orientation. I kinda wish I was 40 years younger so I could go back to choosing Astronomy as a calling.

This ⌧ing image overwhelms me. The corona is the gods-damned SUN. The light coming from the left and lighting the surface of the Moon is, Oh Gods, It's Earthshine. It's solar light reflected off of this planet and lighting the moon in the total darkness of the Eclipse. Just... beyond amazing.
