DGP and all that

As was once said of Marx (Karl, not Groucho): What's useful was assimilated many years ago, the rest is superfluous.

As the proud owner of most of (but not all damn it!) their products, DGP and Joe Fugate's work (please Joe come back and talk to us!) are each golden legacies bequeathed to Traveller (even the clunky 101 'bots) - what ever the current detractors say (just read the TML from about 4 months ago, all sour grapes I say).

... but it is a legacy not a future (Joe Fugate has moved on to his model train line and, lets face it, he was the spirit of DGP) and its time to move ye olde game on as well

Which is something QLI is doing admirably!, if I may say so!

Would like to find out and maybe raise the money through donations from CotL, TML, and JTAS members, if the price is right.
at the time, MWM said rodger was looking mid 6 figures. (As I said, absurd)

Gut instinct; six figures today is fairly reasonable, considering the expanding "fantasy" media market, but back then? No way. Just my two bits

</font>[/QUOTE]I dunno. Six figures sounds reasonable to me.

"Here's $20. Here's another $20. And another, and another, and another, and another. There's yer six figures. Gimme the DGP stuff!"
