I've read the example on page 149 of the THB repeatedly. So here goes: 1. a hit is scored 2. roll damage(say 3 dice) 3. subtract dice = to AR, but always withhold the last(highest) die. 4. subtract any remaining AR from last die. 5. If number is greater than zero--that amount is subtracted from lifeblood not stamina.
Is this accurate? What I'm trying to get at is: In personal combat, when is damage subtracted from stamina, and when from lifeblood? Any clarification would be appreciated. My first campaign starts in 8 days, and I need to run a number of combat demos before then. Thanks.
