Chicago-Milwaukee Area

I am looking for either a referee or gamers in the Chicago-Milwaukee area. I am about halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee. I have just about all of the original series of books, plus most of the games, and a set of the JofTAD from 2 to 24. I also have the various expansions including MegaTraveller and The New Era.

I would prefer someone playing the Classic books. I have tweaked the game a bit. I am retired from the Army (Quartermaster Corps), I am a military historian and have done some games design.

How many of us are in this region? I'm two hours south of Chicago on I65, I am too busy to do any sort of regular game other than the one I am doing online, but some sort of meeting could be interesting.

I am about an hour north of Chicago, and about an hour south of Milwaukee, but I have contacts with the game club at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, which I hope to have do some playtesting for me for a large-scale WW2 game that I am working on.

I live in Franklin. I am new to Traveller, but am interested in Classic Traveller over the other versions.

Perhaps we could play sometime. I keep a busy schedule and currently have a gaming group on Sunday nights in South Milwaukee.

But, there is potential.
