I was looking over the posts from JF and DN last night when something occurred-

Charles Gannon was charged with the later development of the Megatraveller story. Has anyone ever spoken to him (or did he leave any developers notes/insights) into what he had planned for the rebellion ?

Or was he simply writing product on demand whilst GDW still held and charted the strategic reigns ('Charles write this product, dealing with this subject, cos this is where we have the campaign going').

Certain aspects of C.G.s work I liked (but I have never read A.V.)- I would love to look over notes/reflections if they existed or if he had spoken to someone.

I remember a line in Hard Times to the effect that 'the different factions started to expand again from their 'safe' areas in the early 1130s' so I'm guessing the plot device that was Virus was decided upon after he wrote that book.

But, Dave claimed he wrote up large sections of Hard Times. I did once google up Mr. Cannon and he seems to a writer affliated with a university but no email.

Maybe if someone wants to contact him they could either strike up a snail mail or ask politely the university.
