Arkansas Travellers?

That would be cool if there was family...The 5 'kids' are al 4 legged, and spend most of the day under the front porch (when they aren't barking at someone)...Nope, just me and the 145 yr old victorian...That needs something done EVERY day...<sigh>
oh well...no rest for the wicked...

I Can relate to the 4-legged children. The Vargr lady Labrador boarder we have had pups again, and the cute furballs had to go to the kennel while I mowed Sunday (8pm CSt cooler then) evenin'. The AC died Saturday might, but hey--We got ceiling fans too..
Nice fer the Lemonade sippin weather this was..

Mmmm... Lemonade... (Homer Simpson style droooooool...) Liam, MADDog, when I get home I'll lift a glass to you! Yes, it's lemonade season here in Massachusetts too (and see, we aren't total barbarians, even though we disagree how to take in the lemon flavor).

Listen up, ya "backwoods hick of a suthnu(

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH - A YANKEEE!!!!!
[Eek!]

Who let that varmit it here?
Hmmmm.... Just got out of the low berth there huh.

Uhhh... I hate to tell you this MADDOG, but they had a battle up at Pea Ridge, and, well, you are all Yankees now. Except for that lot of aliens taking over New Mexico. There is a rumor that they are scouting Arkansas right now. But I wouldn't worry about it. Especially those large pod plants in the back yard. Pay no mind to them.

Sniped quote of MADDOG..

What a coincidence... the old folks came from those states; the Terran Dad came out from Marion, Ohio, the Terran Mom out of Bloomington, MN. They picked me up in Cannon AFB, NM, after I got off the mother ship. Oh yeah, that whole Roswell business, that was just a excercise in strategic deception; the real landing was at Cannon. I WAS THERE.

All your base are belong to us.
:D

If you've read enough of my blabbering, you might have noticed I talk about fixing up my house...I own a 145 yr old Victorian here in Fayetteville...It was one of only a dozen or so structures to survive the Civil War - Reason? The CONFEDERATES burnt the town to the ground...Anyway, the house belonged to Benjamin Davidson - he's one of the guys to get US 71 built up here, helped get the U of A built up here - a whole bunch of stuff...But that's what I spend my day doing...Today was more fun with the finish nailer (Air gun cool :D )

Besides, it keeps me inside the nice, cool AC..
:D

I personally like both Lemonade and Tea but drink more tea now due to the sugar in Lemonade. Asu OTOH...

Asu: <siiiiiiiiiip!; takes a sip of Lemonade> <siiiiiiiiiiiiip! takes a sip of heavily sugared Iced Tea> Yummers! <bounces off the walls a few times>

Ok, from Granville in Licking County just east of Franklin, Dad's from Newark in the same county, and Mom's from Mt. Liberty in Knox County just north of Licking. <hums It's a Small World after all>

Heh, FWIW, I had T-storms until Thursday and lost power on Sunday and Tuesday, most of the day Tuesday. People will hopefully learn to trim their trees after Tuesday!

Haven't been on the COTI forums in awhile.

Another Fayetteville Traveller Player!

Maddog, I've got a small group, 4 people total, that plays on Sundays. Age group ranges from 25-40, with me right in the middle. Would you be interested in joining us?

Starting up a 2300ad campaign right now, but we've played CT and T20 in the past (as well as Harnmaster, 3ed. D&D, Runequest, and so on...).

Do any of you happen to know if Liam's assignment to a certain facility in Texas is just temporary or a prelude to being shipped overseas after the holidays?

I dunno what Liam's gonna be doing exactly, but I do know from the local media that the 39th Arkansas NG brigade is training with the 1st Cav division and will be sent to Iraq at some date certain.
