Annic Nova (Warning - Spoilers!)

For some reason I have long associated Annic Nova with the Vargr.

I haven't read either version of the adventure in years, and really don't recall anything specific making the connection.

I do like that it is an essentially unresolved mystery, every world needs a few of those.

The text seems to imply that it had entered the Regina Subsector from a Coreward direction, IIRC. But Vargr are not mentioned anywhere.

No idea where I might have made that connection. It was thirty five years ago give or take.
