every year around Christmas my gaming group dose a campaign around Christmas when things get difficult to get everyone together for our normal games, we pick a game we haven't done for a wile or just one someone feels like needs to be done, this year it looks like it will be Twilight/Merc 2K, due to the back story having lots of politics cant tell you how we got to Post-Collapse America'a decade from now, but there where lots of domestic politics that prompted three Concurrency ruining Foreign Wars (one in Europe two in Aisa, one of those was over in a span of weeks), the US went to the ultimate Government Shutdown and suspended the United States till they got their Shiz together (half a decade later they still haven't), since then there has bean a "Domestic" war to protect the Lives and Rights of US Citizens and the Sovereignty of of some of the Many States during the currently ongoing situation that war has bean over for a few years now.
the characters are (so far) all ex-Military we have
a failed Strip Mall Solicitor, started as a Infantry Coms operator (with a Ranger Tab) who went to West Point after his first war and re-classified to Signals did his Law Degree after his 2nd War and started a Law practice that promptly Failed.
next is a Female Marine started as NBC Infantry re-classified to Admin due to language skills, back to Infantry during the first war where she worked as an Interpreter for the Raiders, went to OCS finishing out the War as Intel attached to the Raiders still working as an interpreter stayed in after the first war and did her Degree before mustering out after the 2nd war to become a Teacher.
after that is a Space Force MP who after the Space Force got disbanded worked Construction till the 2nd war when he joined the Army as a Grunt, after that he went in to Heavy Haulage as a Driver.
and lastly a Air-force Medic during the First War who did his degree first becoming a Nurse during the 2nd and then an MD and today is an Aid Worker.
