Following the current upsurge in Solomani sentiment, I've decided to convert the AM6: Solomani ship designs to High Guard format. I've used HGS (High Guard Ships) for this purpose.

TL typos corrected. The Light Destroyer is a general-purpose light military craft used both independantly for customs (sp?)/police duty and in fleets as a medium escort of bigger ships. The Bulk Carrier is a light-to-medium-range commercial craft specialized mostly in cargo.

Deckplans I can do by myself; official or not, I promise to make them fit the pictures. The major issue is the roundness of these ships, making them more tricky to design.

It's based on the size of the hull and a percentage of the total batteries of a type.

The rules for the batteries bearing are round fractions to the nearest whole number and when assigning damage in combat batteries knocked out are from those not bearing first. Basically it's a damage soak for big ships with enough weapons. So for example with 10 batteries of a weapon type on a size M (30Kt) ship only 9 batteries of that weapon will bear in any combat turn, so you only roll 9 attacks. If that weapon takes a hit reducing it to 9 batteries from 10 then you still roll 9 attacks. The next hit to reduce the weapon to 8 batteries means you'll only roll 8 attacks. And so on.
