First glances can be fun... my initial sight of this thread title had me wondering where you were looking for players from.

People from the sunny state of SoCal sometimes refer to Arizona dwellers as Zonies.

We from just north of you call it "Aridzona".
As in Utah? Wot, like you guys got water? "Utah features a dry, mostly desert climate..."
It is a bit dry in AZ.

If the Titan Missile Museum isn't beneficially distinctive enough for you, you can always visit Sedona, Kitt Peak, Lowell Observatory, oh, and I hear there's some famous holes in the ground. Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater, and this other one with well-fed squirrels, I forget the name...
Work takes me down to AZ every so often. In a couple of years when the kids are gone I may just stay.
(Thanks to the Titan Missile Museum my mother and stepfather now have some idea what it is I do for a living. 20+ years of trying to explain it, then one day they come back from a trip to AZ full of info about rockets, ICBMs, etc. from the TMM and I can simply say to them, "Yes, that's what I do!")

Bilingual state..Big ditch in the northern portion of the state..Nasty pigs roaming the desert (no I mean Havelena not border patrol)..Some truely beautiful countryside. Cars last a lot longer hereabouts..don't have to worry to much about the bodies rusting away. Can visit snow up in the mountains then go back home to a nice weather in the winter all within a couple hours drive.
Sun 350 days a year...wind 365 days a year...plenty of lakes and streams round and about excellent fishing. Some of the finest vinyards in America..and the largest Pecan farm to be found in a desert..(actually one of the largest pecan farms anywhere in the world) ..
One of two states left in the Union that Ignore the farce called daylight savings...
21 (recognized) Native American Tribes Reside here as well as parts of another 30 tribes that arn't federally recognized..Making for an extensive and diverse culture
