How canonical is the map at http://www.travellermap.com ?

I'm finally putting the finishing touches on my first adventure, and need to change the location of the original setting to the Turley sector, which, to my knowledge at least, was only mapped in the old Atlas of the Imperium.

Thanks much for any reply.

Thanks.

It's a non-canonical adventure that I'd like to publish as a PDF file, so, I'm thinking it really doesn't matter much where I establish the opening scene for the players. In that same regard it might not matter where I put the final destination.

The thing I want to avoid is having to get in sync with the "OFFICIAL" Traveller setting by having to look up world and system data, then copying it into my settings. As such I'm staging my stuff in far out of reach places, and making it non-canon as best as I can.

Thanks for the reply.

Sure. Being vague, if it will work out well, would give Ref's the most flexibility. Travellermap.com also offers partial UWP searches - useful for finding matches for particular needs (population, TL, starport, etc).

Also, if the adventure doesn't require any consumer interstellar starport - pick a multiple star system and you can plop a whole stellar system (maps and all) to the non-primary star... unless someone else has ever done this, or completely mapped the system, that should be pretty clean...
