Greetings, Citizens of the Imperium!

We are developing The Corporate Wars, an online real-time strategy game based on an economic simulation of Charted Space (MMO RTS Tycoon).

The game is set in Imperial Year 1201, eighty years after the events of the original role-playing game. Embracing the extended golden age philosophy, there has been no Rebellion, no Virus. The Third Imperium remains solid, stable, and more interconnected than ever.

Players take the role of interstellar corporations competing —and cooperating— for control over trade, logistics, information, and regional influence. These conflicts have a name: KaraamshidukagimThe Corporate Wars.

We apply a computational model of delayed information flow, simulating message transmission across the jump network according to route traffic.

We use stateless blockchain technology to support the economic simulation and to develop complex governance structures that represent the intricate hierarchies of authority across the game's thousands of Polities.

These two are currently a work-in-progress

We are looking for artists, contributors, testers, and community members interested in the game's evolution.

I love the sound of "karaamshidukagim" - does it have actual Vilani roots?
Not as such. But that does not mean that it could not be willed into place as one.

From: kharbaam [to be furious -- either as a mood, an action state, or both] + shukagek + aam [revenging, perpetuating vengeance, feuding]

The intransitive verb in this case (kharbaam) becomes adjectival when directly attached to the noun (shukagekaam), but in a more permanent sense than simply illustrating it; it becomes an essential part of the nature of the compound word itself, rather than a description of what it happens to be at the time.

At least that's one interpretation. I'd prefer something a little more specifically corporate, but I'm a little tired, and this is something of a rush job.

Karaamshidukagim [ka-RAAM-shee-doo-ka-geem] –noun.[Origin circa -4500 Imperial, from Vilani karam “duty, loyalty” + shidu “to carry, prosecute” + agentive suffix -kagim. Refers to conflicts waged between corporate actors upholding institutional loyalty.]1. Collective term for the great intercorporate conflicts of the Ziru Sirka era. 2. Formal designation for ideological and military struggles among Vilani megacorporations. 3. By extension, any prolonged conflict waged in the name of duty, loyalty, or institutional allegiance.
The Vilani houses of the Ziru Sirka cultural inheritance are reviving this ancient form of corporate conflict, invoking the war laws of the Third Imperium. Not as treason against the Imperium, but as a civilizing regulation.
