Who PLAYED IT but doesn't like it. (GURPS Traveller)

I went from Classic to GURPS (as a player in both). And then finally have settled on Mongoose Traveller (as a ref). I do fine with just me and three players at a table using an open world setting where players can do anything.

I'm considering using either T5 or plain GURPS for my next game.

I got shanghaied into refing a Mongoose game on Google+ Hangout for 6 players. I am adjusting to it after three 5-hour sessions so far.
