It's for real. A (ex?)* COTI did up a few Traveller related items (among others) for sale through Cafe Press (a production on demand mail order shop). You order it and they make it up and ship it. The "store owner" gets a small cut of it for creating the design. Or you could do up your own original design and have it made for yourself, and others might like it too. I don't recall if there's an up-front fee with Cafe Press or not, check the details on the site

I think style would tell in time. But since the initial posts there's been nothing so it's hard to say.
