After talking on a post on Reddit Traveller, I'm wondering what you can get in the Ship's Library:

System Comm Directory

Search Request
- you should be able to customize the Update to look for information you request.

Imperial Encyclopedia service
- previous World Updates (stored from past)
- current World Update
- Star system Update
- Surrounding systems Update

Traveller's Aid Society
- TAS Warnings
- TAS travel guides

Interstellar Astrographic

PlaySophont subscription

What else do you get downloaded to your Ship's Library?

What you're talking about is what kind of stuff do you get when you enter a system. Quick space weather and navigation data updates, while en route to the starport.

When you arrive at the starport, you can sync any of the subscriptions you have. For example, you can see having a Netflix subscription, with lots of DRMd movies downloaded to your ship ready for viewing (and paying for).

Navigation program subscriptions get you rights to jump updates.

IFF codes for locals in flight from the starport C on up.

Market updates for cargo speculation.

Personal messages for crew and passengers.

Colloquially its know simply as "WFP"...

Here's a detail about the WFP.

It is updated constantly, by peers everywhere. The updates are routinely carried by ships from system to system, so as to propagate out through the rest of the galaxy. Not just X-Boats, anyone can choose to grab a chunk of the WFP and broadcast it back out when they arrive in any system with at least a class C starport, or otherwise a known, active peer. You can certainly broadcast on arrival, but there's no guarantee of a active peer in the system if it doesn't at least have a C starport. Shout into the void all you like!
