Western Mass/Pioneer Valley

I have a group meeting monthly in eastern MA - Malden is where we've met so far. It's a trip, to be sure, but you'd be welcome.

Hruf-hmm-hm, Ahem. Gentlemen. There are some lights of civilization out here in the hilltowns. Y'know, the hilltowns in the Berkshires, where the hardy early settlers helped supply the oxen and manpower to get the guns from Fort Ticonderoga over the Berkshires and across the Connecticut River in the dead of winter to Boston to help seal Boston Neck and beseige Boston?
I am blessed to live in Hinsdale, about eight miles ESE of Pittsfield, about an hour and a quarter from Northhampton. I too am interested in FtF play, but have depaired over the low density population. Until five years ago, I lived my life in the throbbing heart of the Atlantic Coast megapolis variously from Philadelphia to WashDC. I completely took for granted having a _lot_ of people available within an hour's drive to gather for rpg'ing FtF. I wouldn't go back for anything (except a visit) but it has been lonely.

Springfield area I could handle, or Northhampton, but Eastern Mass is probably too much.

Cambridge looks at, a guess, to be under two hours from me in Hinsdale (see Google maps). not insuperable.

God's Teeth! I just looked at Google maps: Malden is _in_ Boston!

Archhealer, where exactly are you? If I may be so bold?

I am in Northampton, but if I start a game here it'd probably be in AMherst ( I have a friend willing to host a small group once or twice a month, wich is about all I could handle anyhow). I'm willing to commute short distances, berkshires qualifies ( I used to live in Richmond, and I have relatives in Great Barrington, so I know the area), and as for all you eastern massers... basically, if it's east of 495, it's pretty damn far for us, you should get out and see the rest of your state sometime!

Malden is not in Boston! No more than Lynn is!

Lynn and Malden are both in Boston. As far as anybody west of 495 is concerned, everything east of it is Boston

You gotta start living east of 495. Then you'll really learn what's in Boston. (Did you know that because I live in Lynn, I can't work work for the city of Boston, because I have to live in Boston to be able to do so? Stupid!)

You would probably want to search the Boston Area threads, they're a LOT closer to the Nashua area. Western Mass is a good two hours drive to Nashua.

Email me through the address I posted in the other thread; we may be able to help you out.

I drop a penny into the void, and await it's echoing landing....

Nobody, pretty much, huh? Well, for those couple who responded, I'll be starting something, sometime (Soon as I get enough campaign set worked up) and I'll let you know.
