Were the Virushi only written up in GT, or do they have some other write up in one of the other systems?

JTAS 12 is where J. Andrew Keith's original article "Contact! The Virushi" appeared, back in 1982.

Yeah, I was wondering about that, because I had planned on using them in a write up, and I have the GT Alien module more handy than the JTAS issue.

Aside from the rules interpretations, there is not really anything new to learn by having both, IIRC.

I completely forgot about them until I reread Gateway to Destiny a couple weeks ago. There's a writeup in there but it's minimal. I think it references you back to the T20 PHB.
