About me: Been around the block a time or two. 
Been RPing since the late 70's. Introduced to Traveller in the early 80's. Loved it, but didn't get many opportunities to play. Have played a variety of other genres and systems, but would like to join a Traveller campaign again.
... I'm now grown up, sort of, and don't have the time for face to face games or the ability to regularly set aside a specific night for RPing online, so I'm hoping to join a PBeM game. I'm open to creating a character that fits the needs of the group. ... My only stipulation is that I'm interested in creating a character that has some personality and offers some interesting RP possibilities. Also, due to my lack of recent familiarity with the rules, you probably don't want me piloting your ship.
I have downloaded the Megatraveller rulebook, just to refresh my memory regarding the character generation process. ... I'm not tied to any particular system. Whatever you're using works for me.
I'm open to joining a newly created group, or an existing group. ... Anyone who could use another player to help generate more dialogue.
If you'd like some samples of my RP style, I can probably dig up some old D&D logs from a mux I used to play on, or possibly a Shadowrun log, though it has been a long time since I have played that, so I can't make any promises.
