Strange question….
Has anyone ever tried to combine GURPS Traveller and GURPS Steampunk starship designs? GSP has a reactionless thruster, and Steam Tech has a Paraplanetary Jump Drive that appears to use Zuchai Crystals. Maximum range 6 parsecs, energy required is 3.6 million Kw per 100 tons of ship. You charge the thing by placing pressure directly on the crystal with steam presses or hydraulics wonder . . . . .

[Edit] the non jump “ether clipper” works out to be 74 tons, and uses 2400kw ether propeller.

Drive systems
Reactionless super thruster to move the ship
9450kw

Paraplanetary Jump Drive (pg 94 GST)
3.6 million kw ( this is mechanical energy transmitted to the crystal by hydraulic or steam pressure.)
1,600 lbs 64 cf per 100 tons of jump cap. No “jump fuel” for this system as it has some special limitations.

Power Systems:
Sextuple expansion reciprocating steam engine 10,000kw using either a Martian Heavy Elements Reactor or solar boiler.
440,220lbs= 18 dtons displacement.
