Any players in the northern end of Britain want to make contact?

I'm in Washington, with connections to the University of Sunderland. They have a games club, though I'm not a member.

Washington.... isn't that something like Junction 65 off the M1? I'd be interested in a monthly game as I'd have to travel to play, and I can incorporate it into my work.

Hey, I'm up for games anywhere in, around & outside London. I don't mind driving an hour or two for a game. My work allows me to travel about a bit so I can just use being in that part of the country as an excuse to get some work done there. Isle of Wight.... hmm. Funny 'cos I was just on holiday staying on Sandbanks....

I think the denizen's of Arden in the West Midlands might dispute that, what with Arden being officially as far from the sea as you can get in the British isles. ;)

Alas my gaming time is limted, and pretty much taken up already :( . With two weekly game nights and two kids, I really don't have the time to spare for anything else and that's not including the tentative monthly game some old university mates are talking about setting up! Oh to be a student again!

Still, maybe we could sort out a social get together. When's next years Traveller Con organised for?

Well as mentioned elsewhere, Dragonmeet is at the end of November and I believe BITS will have a presence there. I'm hoping to have a sample T20 scenario done to run as a demo.

Anyone in and around the Greater London area fancy a get-together?

All the details at http://www.dragonmeet.com/

Important details:
Date: November 30, 2002
Venue: Kensington Town Hall
Times: 10:00am - 11:00pm - plenty of time to play :)

Getting together sounds like a great idea. Can't think of any kebab shops in High Street Ken though.

- Neil.

Well I'm in Canterbury down in sunny Kent, though I'm Northern Irish by upbringing.

I must say I got round my lack of players by using the GRIP software. Its not perfect by any means and is very unstable, but it does the job. (Hunter if you're reading this any chance of more work done to the software?)

I'm about to, hopefully, start a small group off. If that goes well, and I survive Dragonmeet, then I might be persuaded to get a second game going.

I'm south of Gatwick but am happy to travel to London if someone else is prepared to play host.

No promises right now, but watch this space.

- Neil.
