Traveller players/GM:s in Sweden wanted

I can refer you to a Finnish AD&D player (1E & 2E) who speaks Swedish (don't know about the cross-border commute, though).

At the bottom of this page is a post by Saunatonttu... who is from Finland.

Here is a comment from Saunatonttu on using real languages in the game: I have taken it a habit to use both of my native languages, especially swedish in my mostly english online games. It's funny, and adds some extra humour for me to the "forgein" languages. Nordic barbarians yelling "finnjävels!" (f'n finns!) for example.

If you like, I can PM Saunatonttu with contact info for you.

Jo några svenskar finns det här...

Jag är dock inte i behov av en ny grupp, men tycker att jag borde svara på detta ändå för att visa att vi faktiskt finns.

Og minst én aktiv norsk, men det hjelper vel ikke deg. =0)

And at least one active Norwegian, but that doesn't help you much.

We are a few players in Linköping, always happy to take some more into our group. The current campaigns we have (I GM both) are:

1) A group of players, have been playing this campaign since -94 when we met at college and we still play once per week. In game we are at 1210 just after the Soleean War) This is a RCES/Star Viking campaign with lots of intrigue and exploration.

2) A new campaign just started, the players are playing a small company trying to make it in the RC space. It will be a corp/explore campaign.

I'm a Swedish-American Traveller ... but I suppose that's not exactly what you're looking for, is it.

In fact, Dunia, Linköping (as well as Lidköping) were my family's two original hometowns; my great-grandparents used to talk about them all the time.* So, y'know, if you happen to come across any Andersson's running around over there ...

*My great-grandfather was from
Lidköping, and my great-grandmother was from Linköping. Confusing, I know, but I keep track of it by remembering that it was my great-grandfather who talked about the lake.
