Traveller mailing list webpage confusion

OK, I know a lot of Traveller fans are ex-military and gun-nuts, but how on earth did this gun site end up with the tml.travellercentral.com URL?

(I think several Traveller FAQs are currently pointing to it as the homepage of the Traveller mailing list).

 You got me. That's bizzare.

Hey Hunter, is this some domain hijack hijinks, perhaps related to the security worry reported in the Website Issues forum a bit back? And btw is that all taken care of now?

Believe it or not I saw this, but I seriously thought it was an April Fools prank (as I was foolishly surfing the web on April 1st).

Apparently not...

Because it's the default website for that server or something like that. It occasionally pops up when there's some sort of problem with one of the domains (virtual folders?). IIRC it's one of the personal websites of the person who managed the TML before QLI.

Emailed the webmaster for travellercentral.com, mentioned the problem, and sent a link to this thread. And yes the FAQ could use an update.

Yeah, Tod Glenn owns travellercentral.com, and also has various gun sites. They're all hosted on the same machine, and you get routed to a specific webpage depending on the hostname you use. Probably a configuration problem with Apache.
