Traveller Convention

Has anyone ever put serious thought into a convention by and for us Traveller fans?

I did a forum search and I didn't see anything.

120 miles. Thats almost in my backyard but >$40 in gas round trip + $20 Fee for one day of versions I don't own

Depending on which day and where you live, I may be able to swing by and give you a ride. ;-)

And for my game, I give out prizes, which include rule sets.

I certainly wouldn't object to one in my back yard (meaning local - not literally in my back yard. I wouldn't pay for airfare and hotel) if the entrance price was reasonable.

That's not a bad idea.

Anyone have a decent backyard or garage in the Plano, TX area that they'd be up for hosting a weekend Traveller "grass roots"-con this Fall?

And, anyone else have spare bedrooms they'd be willing to let for one night?

I might just have to hit that Champaign convention - missing GenCon this year and all...
