Traveller Chronicle

SOC-2
I am seeking help from all of the fellow Traveller players and game masters out there. When TNE was produced, a magazine was published based around the game. Inside two of the issues was a story put written by Terrence McInnes called " A Long Way Home". Does anyone know if the full story was published and if so, where I may get a copy of it? Any help would be appreciated.

Lone Star,
Liam devlin here. You are refering to Traveller Chronicle issiues 12 & 13, wherein the 1st two parts of the Long way home were printed. I got my copies mailed to me from the UK, and my friend & collaborator Mr Richard Perks. As far as we can tell, TC & sword of the Knight publications went down due to lack of subscriptions and other reasons. No issue beyond # 13 was done. Like you, I'd be happy to see the rest of the story. But unless one knows how to find Terrence McInnes, we sadly aren't going to.
Btw, I'm in Arkansas. whereabouts in OK are you?
Sleinte!

I just checked the contents of issues 2-10. The closest I found was in issue 6. It has an article called "Far From Home" by Gharles E. Gannon.

A good issue, IMHO, not as good as issue 5 ;) but a good issue.

Liam,
I live about 20 miles West of Oklahoma City.

A Long Way Home was an adventure published for T4 by Imperium Games, it was also published by BITS (who wrote it) in a slightly different form and content I believe. You should be able to get a copy from Andy Lilly at BITS (who I met at GenCon UK. Hello Andy.) through contacting them. The address is on their website BITS Home Page

Lonestar,
I'm north of LR, Arkansas by some 30 odd miles, btw. Live in the country over 6 miles from anything called a town.

Greetings Liam Devlin,
Out by Beebe or out by Conway? Do you have any other players?

I'm down in Hot Springs. :D

Plop101,
10 miles from Beebe/ 26 miles from Conway/ 7 miles from ward, 4 miles from El Paso; 8 miles from Austin, 12 miles from Cabot. I'm in the upper NW corner of Lonoke county. Have gamers in Searcy & Jacksonville. I commute to either, and my daughter *(The GMD-GM's daughter) Usually hauled with me. Glad to make your acquaintance.

Yeah! I know that area. Cool. Here I thought I was the only one in Arkansas.
Wow, like first contact and everything. :D
Pleased to know that I'm not alone here.

Been playing since 1979. Generally do CT-MT, although GT is a nice change of pace.
T4 is alright. I have TNE stuff, but I never really got attached to it.

Anyone in your group going to be at the Roc.Kon at the end of the month?

Plop101,
Sorry lad, most of them are SCA as well, we have the event at camp Couchdale 26-29 SEP called "war of the Diamonds" to do for the LR group. Shan't be at Roc Kon (durn it, scheduling conflicts & prior commitments). I still game by e-mail with two former campign players though. Started in CT 1980. Took hiatus til late MT (AD & D). Picked up TNE in early 90's. Has bugs, but I adapt, overcome, and survive. I liked the hard Times era of MT. I freely pirate ideas into the campaign and try to make em work. I like good roleplaying, gear heading I appreciate but have little practice with. I can be reached at devlin12@ipa.net for private post & skull sessions (Player input is a must for a guy like me who tries to plan ahead of gamers (always have plans A-D, and sometimes E!!).
Just got here last week. Been on TNE list, bedevilling folks with a Solee that isn't a rollover cookie cutter plot. Shared stuff with MJD, whose writing (fiction) is a style I admire.
Okay enough plugging for the master!
Great to here from another Arkansan!
